In this Question Line video, Jason answers the following question regarding tapered surfaces:

What would be a proper way to tolerance a tapered profile?

In this Question Line video, a person asks how to control the taper between two surfaces of a part. Jason explains two approaches if the goal is to keep the surfaces parallel. He then demonstrates, using the above drawing, how the from-to modifier can be applied to create a wedge-shaped tolerance zone when more deviation on one side is preferred. He emphasizes that the best tolerancing method should always be chosen based on the functional intent of the part.
